THANK YOU!

Words cannot express my gratitude not only for the sweetest and most precious gifts, but also for all of you! You all made me feel so special yesterday, like a princess!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I will never be able to convey in full how much I love this class and their families! I truly do. I did my very best to keep the tears under control yesterday, but my heart was bursting!

Very Busy Spiders!

Today we did everything…SPIDERS! We started off the day reading the book, "The Very Busy Spider" By: Eric Carle. We then researched and learned many interesting spider facts; we also created our own busy spider out of construction paper!
This afternoon during our science time, we even made an edible busy spider! What a fun day!

Bug Research and Investigation...

Today we took the time to research and investigate different insects! We searched in small habitats using a magnifying glass and prongs. After researching and investigating, we used our science journals to collect the data found. The children could organize their data any way they chose! We saw some creative ways to organize!

Going Buggy in K4!

Here we used pasta to create a butterfly life cycle-replica!

After reading the book, "The Grouchy Ladybug"  we created our own ladybug at art table!
Under the ladybug's wings are hidden messages :) (AKA Lady bug facts or a math problem using the dots on the lady bug!)
