K4 has gone COCONUTS!

Super Science: Coconut taste test!

First we made observations and collected data on an uncracked coconut!

Then we learned how to crack a coconut open! Thank you, youtube!

Finally, we got to taste it! Yummy!

Friday Fun!

We have had the BEST first week in K4! I am so impressed with how fast each child has caught onto our daily routine even with confusion of assessments!

Wow! GREAT WORK, K4! Keep it up! I can’t wait to see everyone on Tuesday! Don’t forget NO school on Monday, I hope you all has a blessed and fun filled weekend!

Birthdays are a big deal in K4 and especially as a kindergartener! You only turn 6 once, right? In Kindergarten we allow parents to being cupcakes for our class to celebrate! We eat them during our lunch time (11:30). Just let me know you are coming but please don’t feel like you have to!

Working hard in the dark!

Wow, I was so impressed with the way K4 handled the power outage! It was out for 4 hours and they continued to work hard and "go with the flow"! I was very impressed!

A My Name is Alice!

Today we read a story called, A My Name is Alice by: Jane Bayer . We discussed what letter our names start with and also thought of other things that start with that letter! We had a great 2nd day!
