Making Applesauce!

Our materials:

 First we washed the apples:
Then we sliced the apples:
Then we put them in water so they didn't brown:
Then we poured the apples in the blender:
Then we added ( a little) sugar and cinnamon:
 Finally we ate it!

"We made applesauce!"

First Round Up!

We had such a great time at our first Round Up Assembly (which is just a school wide assembly) We even had some K4'ers get to go up to the front and represent our class!
Below you will see a picture of Representative Ratliff. He joined our assembly to award one of our CCE parents for helping keep our school healthy! Pretty Neat!

Dr. Penny chose Madden to go up front to compare the size of a kindergartner and all these senior football players! Each of these football players seen below went to CCE starting in Kindergarten!

The 5th graders will begin selling pajamas for a fund raiser to help raise money for to pay for their Sea World trip. They put on a pajama fashion show for us this morning!
Miss Joanna was so lucky to get her name drawn for turning in her Write a Check! She won a $10 gift card to Tappy's!

Its a…

Girl!
We are ALL excited as you can see! We started with a pink and blue ballon this morning and popped the one that wasn't correct. It was so fun sharing 'the news' with your little ones!
Everyone was very sweet and excited, even if they weren't correct on their guess!

Big News in K4 Today!

I wanted to let you know about a very exciting event happening in my personal life: We are expecting our first baby!  ‘Little Gill’ is due in March and my husband, Kelly, and I are thrilled to become parents for the first time.
I thank you for your understanding and support as we go through this exciting time, and I am happy to be able to share the milestones with you and your children.  We will keep you informed as we plan for a smooth transition for K4 in March.
We will find out what the baby is this Wednesday afternoon (I will fill the class in on Thursday morning)! The other sweet kindergarten teachers surprised me today with a little photo booth set up so we could make predictions! Here they are:
