Rein"dear" days of giving!

As a school wide service learning project we will be helping those in need by bringing in daily donations! The whole school gets involved and the kids have a lot of fun! Every day children are picked on the Dr. Penny show to go around the school with her collecting the items while holiday music plays through the school! Please consider getting your child involved by bringing these items:

Thursday 12/1: Canned Goods
Friday 12/2: Mittens and Gloves
Monday 12/5: Cozy Socks
Tuesday 12/6: Blankets
Wednesday 12/7: Toothbrush/Toothpaste
Thursday 12/8: Toys and Books
Friday 12/9: Coat or Sweater
Monday 12/12: Boxed cereal, diapers, soap, rice, beans, shampoo, etc
Tuesday 12/13: Kleenex

This is a great way to give back during the holiday season and so much fun for your children!

Happy Thanksgiving!

 2 Oreos
1 Whopper
 4 Candy Corns
and voila.... A  TURKEY!
We had a lot of fun making our "Oreo Turkeys" and even more fun eating them, I'm sure!

I am very thankful for many, many things, but this year these precious children are one of the biggest things I am thankful for!
Happy thanksgiving to you and your family! Hope it is full of lots of love and many blessings! -Miss Lukert

Round Up!

We had a blast at Round up this morning! We enjoyed watching the shopping cart games and getting to see the All Stars!
We also got to celebrating Cottonwood Creek's Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Gullatt!
Mrs. Gullatt teaches 2nd grade here at CCE. Congrats Mrs. Gullatt!

Fun Run!

Wow, I couldn't believe how far all the students in K4 ran today! I was extremely impressed by the heart, determination, and encouragement I saw out there! I know I can speak for all of us when I say, we had a lot of fun!
Thank you for all your encouragement and support!

Thanksgiving Performance!

Look at all those ROCK STARS up there on that stage! They all did such a great job! Go K4!

Rocky!

Great news!

Kindergarten raised enough "bat money" to allow for EACH class to adopt a bat! Thank you to all who helped make this possible! K4 researched our bat options at http://www.batworld.org/ by reading about each bat that was up for adoption. We also researched by looking at their pictures and videos. After our research was complete we took a class vote and decided we wanted to adopt Rocky! Check out the website if you would like to learn more about our bat or learn how to adopt a bat of your own!
