Three Billy Goats Gruff!
Guess who came to read to us today... Mother Goose (AKA Mrs. Houser our ESL teacher)! She also brought along a couple of her little goats (some of her ESL students. We loved having her! She even gave each student a little sticker! Thank you, Mrs. Houser!

Jack and the Beanstalk
Today's Mystery Reader was the one and only Mr. Choate one of our amazing 5th grade teachers! He read Jack and the Beanstalk and brought us all a "magic bean". Thank you, Mr. Choate!
We placed the "magic bean" in a baggie with three cotton balls (Clouds) and 30 drops of water. Below you will see this process.
Then we each came up with a special place where we wanted to keep our beans. Now we get to observe and wait to see what takes place. Our beans our everywhere:
