This Week at a Glance!

Playing Osmo Words at word work! 
We are working on finding the correct beginning sound! If you do not know about Osmo, look it up! It is an AMAZING hands on learning tool! Maybe even a great Christmas gift! :) 


 Today was Mrs. Grissett, our student teachers last day :(! We celebrated her with donut holes and made her cards! 

 We have been learning with, MoWillems all week! He is a GREAT children's author. His books are entertaining and appropriate for all kindergarten reading levels! 
We read all his Pigeon books this week. Next week we will be learning and reading with his Elephant and Piggie line!

Things to be working on at home: 
*Counting forwards and backwards to 20
*Read, write and represent numbers 1-10
*Count to 25
*Instantly recognize numbers 1-5 shown in different forms.  This is called "subitizing"- Here is one way to practice at home- Subitizing Video
*Collect, and sort data into two or three groups.

Making Applesauce!

We cut them ( with safe knives) then we added cinnamon and sugar and baked them! It was yummy!
