 Wow! What a exciting day! Its difficult to believe that the 100th day has already come and gone! Take a look to see all the learning experiences and fun that took place in k4 today;

Look at all those cool 100th day shirts!

100th day Hats with 100 dots on them! We practiced counting by 20's rather than just 10's!

When we turn 100 we think we will look like this..

Making posters with 100 sticky notes answering different questions!
Typing out what we might do when we turn 100!

We even had a special visit from, "Granny K"! She told us all about being 100 years old! We loved the visit so much we didn't want her to leave! She was a hoot!

Thank you, Zero! You last visit was a success!!!! Huge marshmallow, posters, hats and yo-yo's! Wow!

DIY-ing our projects:
What a day! Before you go, please know how thankful we are to you parents for making this day possible! You were a HUGE help in providing snacks and gifts! K4 has the best parents around!!! Thank you, thank you! :)

Lets Get to Brushing!

This week we are learning all about how to keep our teeth healthy! Today we made a toothbrush with reminders on how to take care of our teeth!

DIY- Digital Portfolio

Today your children created an ongoing digital portfolio at https://diy.org/
**This is for you and your student! This will allow an inside view of exactly what your child is doing at school.  For your child, it will allow him or her to show ownership of his or her academics.
It is too cool!
Each child has created a username chosen an animal mask. At school or even at home your child can take a photo of what he or she has created and show it off digitally. All you will need to know is your child's user name (labeled in red folder) to view what he or she has created. We are just getting started so if there is not anything up yet, please know it is a work in progress.
There is a skills/challenge option but we will get to that later. Please don't do this at home yet.

Heppy Groundhog's Day!

New Service Learning Project!

Books we Love for Those in Need:
Today we began brainstorming as well as planning the steps for our next service learning project! We are planning on raising money to buy new children's books for those in need. We have decided to raise the money by having a baked potato lunch for teachers. This lunch will be on Friday, February the 15th. Each lunch will be $7. Your children will be participating in every action on order to raise the money. Today we completed our first step of, "Speading the word!"
