A Little Dino Math!

 First, we made estimations of how many k4 shoes will fit inside this one dinosaur foot print:

Then we put our estimations to the test! We found out 36 shoes fit!

Next, we began discussing how do we compare the two?

 

Then, we discovered not only can we compare objects but we can also compare numbers! So we decided to compare our estimations. We found out we had 6 estimations that were greater and 14 that were less.  

Book Fair!

 Our school Book Fair is up and running! 

Today we got to go preview all the books and made a "wish list"! It will be open before and after school this week!

I am a Paleontologist !

Today during science we learned all about Paleontologist! After pretending and practicing to be a paleontologist ourselves we came to an agreement that digging bones ( in our case m&m's) out of the earth ( a cookie) can be tough work! We agreed that outside of their necessary tools paleontologist have to have patience, practice and steady hands!
