"The Very Busy Spider"

Today we read "The Very Hungry Spider", by Eric Carle. With some edible learning we discovered that spiders are NOT  insects, they are arachnids. Unlike insects spiders only have 2 body parts.

Today we began reading and learning about bugs and insects! We started off with reading one of Eric Carle's books, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". We will be reading more of his books this week, he loved to write about different bugs!

Elephant and Piggie

We have loved reading all the Mo Willems books! Now that we have read all the "pigeon books", we have started reading some of his "Elephant and Piggie" books. WE love these too! 

"The Duckling Gets a Cookie"...
